The Student Guide 2009

Opportunity

The second publication solely designed and artworked for print, directly after The Festival Guide 2009. This 408 page publication was completed alongside the Editor-in-Chief for editorial content, and the sales team for controlling incoming client advert and advertorial artwork.

 

This project needed to be completed in time for the run-up to the start of the University academic year and first year Freshers student week nationwide.

Approach

Following a deliberate heterogeneous look and feel to the identity of the guide (such as student life typically is) the consistent use of two typeface families throughout, with a defined section colour-coded palette to categorise all 16 sections of the guide was the common thread to ease readers navigation through the guide.

Experience

The Student Guide 2009 was distributed nationwide at numerous University Fresher Fairs, University Student Union offices, and also retailed in selected high-street outlets throughout the UK.
